This helps with your manufacturer warranties on your unit, as they recommend that you tune up your unit twice yearly—once in the Spring/Summer and once in the Fall/Winter. This shows the manufacturer that you are maintaining the unit with an HVAC technician, so you won’t have problems with warranties, as the unit will be documented in the system.
